Resource Property Management is a locally owned and operated community association management firm currently seeking a Clubhouse Attendant in a beautiful waterfront community in Pinellas County, Florida.
Brief Job Description:
- Clubhouse Attendant needs to have a thorough knowledge of the Rules & Regulations and to enforce them with diplomacy and kindness
- Assist members with social activities (water, chairs, etc.)
- Monitor Clubhouse facilities inside and out - tour property every 30 minutes; every 15 minutes on busier days. Ensure only members and their guests use the facilities and follow association rules. Monitor grounds for problem areas and check lights for replacement.
- Monitor pool area, pier, and ramp. If weather becomes threatening (lightning and/or thunder) give weather warnings to members - they will make decision to leave or not.
- Give out equipment for game room, billiards, volleyball, shuffleboard, pickle ball, bocce ball and street hockey.
- Answer phone and forward or take messages as needed.
- Assist manager with special projects when required.
- Monitor and assist at private parties and ensure other members’ activities do not conflict with the party.
- Set up and take down tables and chairs for events or meetings.
- Take pictures and make ID cards for members.
- Register boats & special parking permits.
- Perform an inspection every hour to ensure that all vehicles with boat trailers in the parking lot & surrounding streets have proper stickers. Place a notice on all vehicles that do not display the proper sticker.
- Spray off the dock, as needed, during the shift to remove bird droppings.
- Spot sweep, clean tables, and pool deck during the shift.
- Check all rooms/bathrooms/closets & exercise room windows.
- Empty trash cans (inside & outside).
- Turn off all equipment in office and lock office door.
Education, Experience or Other Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- High school diploma or GED required. Ability to perform job duties consistently, safely, and successfully following RPM policies, handbooks, and safety manuals. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with RPM policies and procedures.
